European Camping Group: expands in Spain and strengthens its presence in France

The group further strengthens its historical presence in the Iberian Peninsula and fortifies its roots in France. European Camping Group targets the Spanish and French markets with two strategic moves.

The management of the ECG group emphasizes, “The opening of Neptuno under the Marvilla Parks brand in Spain is a milestone for European Camping Group. Together with our expansion in Gironde with La Pointe du Médoc, it reflects our ambition to offer exceptional destinations throughout the European market “.

Camping Neptuno – Costa Brava

European Camping Group acquires its first owned campsite in Spain, where it already has a network of 51 partner campsites. It is Camping Neptuno in the resort of Pals, in the heart of the beautiful Costa Brava. The facility features 362 pitches spread over 8.5 hectares and an ideal location near the beaches, a perfect mix of nature and relaxation.

The integration of Camping Neptuno within ECG-owned sites is the result of the group’s 20-year partnership with the family that owns the campground, the fruit of a relationship of trust.

In addition to the purchase, ECG also plans a program of investment and modernization of the site, which includes the renovation of the restaurant and a general renovation of the facilities in order to transform Neptuno into a leading 4-star MARVILLA Parks destination.

Campsite La Pointe du Médoc – Gironde

European Camping Group also strengthens its presence in France with the acquisition and a major modernization project of Camping La Pointe du Médoc****, located in Verdon-sur-Mer, Gironde.

This 4-star property features 229 pitches on 6.8 hectares and boasts an exceptional location near beaches and the Gironde estuary.

Renovations are also planned at this site to improve the existing facilities and enhance the campsite by combining modern comfort with the natural environment.
