ITB Berlin 2025 will take place March 4-6, 2025, at the German capital’s exhibition grounds, and this year it will once again pursue the goals it has set for more than 50 years: to constantly stimulate the growth of the travel and tourism industry and to share industry information while staying abreast of the latest trends. “The World of Travel Lives Here” is the motto of the 2025 convention, which emphasizes and summarizes the importance of this event.
Also this year ITB will address the challenges of an evolving market: this edition will talk about technological innovation, focusing on topical issues such as digitization. Numerous topics to be explored such as the integration of artificial intelligence into the customer journey, and the creation of sustainable marketing strategies. An opportunity to dive into the key topics that are transforming the future of tourism.
In 2024, the convention reached 24,000 visitors, who participated in 4 stages with a total of 17 thematic tracks. Looking forward to the final numbers, this year there are 5,800 exhibitors from over 170 countries (5% more than in 2024) and 1,300 accredited buyers.
Like every year at ITB, we talk about open air, a sector that is increasingly prominent on the international scene, and increasingly committed to offering innovative proposals capable of maintaining a close connection with nature but without sacrificing services and comfort, aided by advanced technology and sustainable solutions.
Also of close interest to the camping world in this edition of IBT 2025 is this year’s host country:Albania. An increasingly popular destination with numerous attractions, historic and cultural cities, UNESCO sites and immersive nature to discover.
For Uwe Frers, managing director of PinCamp, the camping platform of the German automobile association ADAC is: “A place for those who love adventure.” An observation that relates to the market of campers and campers, who are increasingly attracted to the country. He adds, “Here it is possible to immerse oneself in a diverse and heterogeneous nature, all with relatively small distances. Everywhere you have the feeling of camping in close contact with nature “.
