The Fair Hospitality-The Exhibition of Hospitality., the traditional event held in Riva del Garda, will have special importance in 2026 as it celebrates its 50th edition. The event represents a key reference point for the Ho.Re.Ca sector, an acronym that stands for Hotellerie-Restaurant-Café, the whole sector connected with reception and hospitality where the open air plays a relevant role.
The event, organized by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, will take place Feb. 2-5 at the fairgrounds of the Trentino town and this year will focus on innovative hospitality issues with special attention: possible initiatives in the field of sustainability and accessibility will also be discussed in the open-air sector, which in 2024 saw a steady growth in arrivals (more than 10 million) and presences (more than 70 million), generating an induced revenue of 8 billion euros.
Among other things, the exposition will feature two important innovations: in the first, experiential routes will be introduced through the new “Outdoor boom” pavilion, which will reproduce typical activities in outdoor reception by bringing to life the welcoming feeling typical of these recreational facilities. In this way it will be possible to perceive the evolution that this type of tourism has developed over time.
The second novelty will consist of the awarding of prizes to Italian excellence in the sector through the awarding of the Best Camping Village Awards, an award divided into eight categories in which for each will be awarded a structure that has been able to enhance a typical aspect of hospitality.
The entire fair will also focus special attention on aspects related to inclusivity in business development through informative content and ad-hoc meetings promoted by FAITA-Federcamping, a historical partner of the event.
Aspects related to management and marketing digitization will also not be overlooked, taking stock of what innovative things are emerging in the “open-air” system.
