The winning synergy between the ForumPiscine, Outex-Outdoor Experience and ForumClub trade shows has resulted in the large exhibition and cultural platform XLeisure, where sports, wellness and outdoor meet to create new connections, opportunities and visions. A B2B hub designed for those who want to innovate, train and network between communities in their respective sectors.
This is also a highly anticipated event in the open air world, capable of charting the horizons of the sports and active leisure market, aiming to increase business, education and networking opportunities among the communities of the respective sectors. An opportunity for business, networking and updating to tune into the most interesting innovations for the leisure universe and its multifaceted declinations, ranging from swimming pools to spas, from design solutions to outdoor experience, from parks to urban furniture, from sports and multipurpose centers to fitness and wellness clubs.
We’re still in the summer, but we’re already thinking about next year’s XLeisure will host ForumPiscine – 17th International Pool & Spa Congress and Expo, Outex – Outoor Experience and ForumClub – 27thth International Congress & Expo for Fitness, Sport and Wellness Clubs, confirming itself as a crucial point of exchange in connecting the many sectors related to the widespread inclination towards healthy and sustainable lifestyles.
Sports as a common thread
In addition to promoting individual well-being, sport is a powerful vehicle for inclusion and sociality. Over the past 30 years, more and more people have devoted part of their free time to motor activities, with an increase in those who participate in sports on an ongoing basis.
Data from the ISTAT Report 2025 and those of the report The practice of sports in Italy – 2024 highlight the great potential for development of the sector, indoor and outdoor. From here, and from the growing importance that people attach to the quality of their leisure time, and in general to life in the outdoors, the organizational machine of XLeisure – the sport and recreation factory officially starts.
Promoted by Editrice Il Campo in collaboration with BolognaFiere, XLeisure 2026 also restarts from the 8,000 operators who chose to attend the event last February, both to discover the novelties and products of the 150 exhibiting companies (15 percent from abroad) and to attend the educational program, consisting of more than 100 appointments including conferences, workshops and live demonstrations.
Federico Andrea and Roberto Maestrami, organizers of XLeisure, state: “XLeisure catalyzes the attention of complementary areas, fostering the emergence and consolidation of synergies and relationships among the main players in the supply chain, both in residential and public settings, from accommodation facilities to fitness centers, wellness areas, aquatic and sports facilities. The idea is that the next edition will continue to offer interesting stimuli, insights and answers for the many professionals, business associations that gravitate to the event each year “.
Innovation, technology, design and sustainability
These will be the key words from which to build and propose initiatives and insights to the public of professionals, buyers and private individuals, both Italian and foreign, visiting the Salone.
Already confirmed is the return, in a renewed and updated guise, of the experiential areas, starting with Outdoor Leisure dedicated to the setting up of outdoor fitness and play areas, and a new installation focused on the concept of the“smart swimming pool,” to delve into the challenges of energy efficiency in a natural and landscape context. The initiative is carried out in collaboration with AIAPP, Italian Association of Landscape Architecture, and the Master of Landscape Architecture degree program at UniGe/UniMi
An important part of the event will be theInnovation Area, the space entirely dedicated to the latest in safety, sustainability and cutting-edge technologies put forth by a selection of exhibiting companies.
Unmissable is XLeisure‘s conference program, articulated in the sessions of the ForumClub International Congress, in the ForumPiscine and Outex educational meetings, organized in collaboration with associations and trade bodies, and in the ever-awaited live shows, curated as every year directly by the exhibitors.
