HolaCamp on the rise: a prestigious new facility arrives in Asturias in 2026

HolaCamp expands its proposal and focuses on the beautiful area of Asturias, considered as “the other face of Spain.” This enchanting northern region overlooking the Cantabrian Sea, that stretch of sea that merges its waters with the Atlantic Ocean, is known for its green landscapes, reminiscent of northern Europe, a destination for many tourists who love the sea but at the same time want to spend activities in the mountains.

HolaCamp, an emerging Spanish open-air chain, is already known to many campers for its several renowned facilities in Catalonia and Galicia, as well as other campsites in Portugal. From 2026 it will further consolidate its presence in this beautiful area as well, to be precise in Playa de La Franca, in the resort of Ribadedeva, considered one of the most beautiful in Asturias. The La Franca facility takes its name precisely from the beautiful coastline, a corner where the Cantabrian Sea opens into beaches and coves of fine sand and the mountains rise majestically a few kilometers away.

La Franca campground: ribbon cutting in April 2026

Camping La Franca will open on March 27, 2026, and it will be possible to stay overnight from April 1, 2026. These months have seen a major renovation and upgrading of the existing infrastructure, a “refurbishing” of a facility with excellent potential.

In addition to the 120 pitches for tents and campers, it will be possible to stay in the “HolaTiny Rooms” and in the “Family HolaTiny Rooms”, perfect bungalow solutions that combine comfort and freedom for couples, family units or groups of friends.

The facility is located on the beach of La Franca, a perfect location to enjoy the sea and waves of the Cantabrian Sea (a popular destination for surfers), but at the same time strategic to enjoy the mountains that surround it. In fact, La Franca Campsite is proposed as a location for a vacation that combines beach and mountain life since the majestic Sierra del Cuera and the imposing Picos de Europa towered nearby, perfect destinations for practicing numerous outdoor activities, in the greenery of the Spain you don’t expect.

Not only that, its strategic location in the eastern part of Asturias, near the border with Cantabria, opens the door to endless possibilities: discovering caves and splashes of water, visiting fishing villages, savoring local gastronomy or relaxing in hidden coves that appear at low tide. HolaCamp ‘s new facility is worth pinning down.
