Pincamp Awards 2026: Cavallino-Treporti is confirmed first in Europe

Pincamp Award 2026, one of the most important events in the open air, took place at the Messe Stuttgart. Italy stood out again this year, captaining an industry with more than 2,600 companies, with a turnover of about 8 billion euros including allied industries.

Innovation and Progress Award: Union Lido Mare

During the evening, the prestigious award in the Innovation and Progress” category was presented to Union Lido Mare, the flagship of open-air tourism in Cavallino-Treporti, an award-winning resort in the province of Venice. A historical reality that has been able to renew itself over the years by focusing on sustainability, but at the same time maintaining its authenticity.

As Mattia Enzo, president of the Cavallino Treporti Tourist Park Consortium, told Veneto Today: “From year to year, Cavallino-Treporti is confirmed as Europe’s most loved and appreciated location for outdoor tourism, and in this edition of the PiNCAMP Awards 2026 the awards won were more than ever. The two key indicators, namely the constant affection of guests that translates into millions of presences and the authority of the industry awards, tell us that the direction taken is the correct one “.

Superplatz, 40 Italian facilities awarded

The event also confirmed the Superplatz awards, given by ADAC Campingführer, the most authoritative guide to the open-air industry in Europe.

The awards were given to 40 Italian open-air facilities that stood out for the quality of their services, innovation and sustainability. Still leading the way was Veneto, with 18 facilities awarded, followed by 6 facilities in Trentino Alto Adige and Tuscany, 2 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lombardy, Piedmont and Emilia Romagna with 2, and 1 facility in Campania and Sardinia.
