REISE + CAMPING is the German trade show dedicated to the world of the outdoors, one of Europe’s most anticipated events in the sector. In addition to offering plenty of ideas for spending open-air vacations discovering the most beautiful international tourist destinations, it offers a rich showcase of vehicles and accessories for mobile travel: from caravans, motorhomes and campers to tents, folding caravans and mobile homes, as well as camping furniture and practical outdoor equipment.
This year’s fair will again take place at Messe Essen, an exhibition center located in the heart of the German city of Essen. REISE + CAMPING confirms itself as a highly anticipated event for both industry professionals and open-air tourism enthusiasts. Following the success of 2025, which recorded more than 80,000 visitors, a wide range of exhibitors are expected for the 2026 edition, including travel agencies, camping equipment manufacturers, outdoor lifestyle brands, and tourism boards from15 different countries.
This year’s event will again be joined by Fahrrad Essen,the most important bicycle fair in North Rhine-Westphalia. This kermesse is one of the main ones dedicated to bicycles in Europe, a green medium in perfect connection with open-air tourism.
REISE + CAMPING therefore means “Travel, Camping, and Cycling,” but also education: the 2026 program includes informative seminars, workshops, and live demonstrations, offering participants valuable knowledge and practical advice for caravanning trips or camping experiences.
