The new Romagna Family Village inaugurated yesterday in Riccione, a futuristic structure that intends to revolutionize the camping sector in the Romagna area by offering open-air stays with a sensitivity that intercepts the tastes of Northern European tourists. Owned by the Club del Sole group, which invested 27 million euros in the construction of the structure, the Romagna Family Village looks like a village without walls and barriers, an open and green area facing the sea, with modern cycle paths mobile homes and wooden structures for common areas such as reception, toilets and bar-restaurant. There is also an indoor swimming pool, still being completed but which will soon be made available to guests of the structure.<\/p>\n\n
The ribbon cutting took place in the presence of the mayor of Riccione Renata Tosi and the president of the Club del Sole Riccardo Giondi. “Today there is great satisfaction – said Giondi – for the culmination of a journey that began five years ago, which saw the collaboration of the municipal administration. We are doing something important. Now we can create a large European open-air tourism district here in Riccione. We can play our cards \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n
In addition, the director of Romagna Family Village Angelo Cartelli explained the philosophy behind the new structure: \u00abWe bring a new concept of camping, a product that has changed a lot over time, especially in Europe, but less so in Italy. You are surrounded by greenery, but you can also have the services offered by a tourist village, all with the utmost freedom of choice, without forgetting technology \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n
Romagna Family Village is still only partially open to the public. The works will in fact be completed only at the beginning of 2024, providing for the redevelopment of an additional area of 270 thousand square meters behind the village already inaugurated, which will make the village reach a record number of 7,000 beds. In the new area, 1,500 trees will be planted and water parks, other swimming pools and an open-air theater will be built.
