The best campsites of 2022 have been elected. The specialized site Campeggi.com has published its now traditional annual ranking of the best campsites in Italy, compiled by seven editions based on both user reviews and the impartial opinion of experts. Six categories awarded: from the best among the “Family”, “Pet friendly” and “Wellness” structures to the “Best glamping”, passing through the perfect reality for the “Camper” category and the one with the “Best restaurant”.<\/p>\n\n
In the “Glamping” category, the Capalbio Glamping in Capalbio, Tuscany won, awarded for luxury tents just 10 meters from the beach surrounded by Mediterranean scrub with beds, armchairs, private bathroom with also hydromassage shower in the suites. Alternatively, there is no shortage of pizza makers or caravans for rent, which are still very comfortable and perfect for discovering the area, just a step away from the WWF oasis of Lake Burano. There are also many services, from the minimarket to the restaurant, and then tennis and beach volleyball courts on the beach, playground, bike rental.<\/p>\n\n
The “Pet friendly” award went to Tiliguerta Glamping & Camping Village in Muravera (Cagliari), located in a beautiful natural oasis in southern Sardinia. Perfect destination for holidays of total freedom and relaxation, at Tiliguera you can choose between the classic pitches for tents and campers or bungalows, mobile homes, charming glamping solutions, all comfortable and with large reserved open spaces, perfect for those traveling with animals . But if this campsite has won the award as best for pets, it is for the services, offering a beach equipped for dogs and even a dog sitting service.<\/p>\n\n
In the “Family” category, the Camping Village L’Ultima Spiaggia in Bari Sardo (Ogliastra), also in Sardinia, triumphed: among the large swimming pools, the mini club for children and the young club for children aged 5 to 17, with many activities both at the sea and in the campsite, adults can relax by taking advantage of the many possibilities to practice sports, from mountain biking to snorkeling and then horse riding, or the classic soccer, tennis, beach volleyball and water aerobics.<\/p>\n\n
Sardinia also dominates for the “Best restaurant”, awarded to the Capo Ferrato Camping Village in Muravera (Cagliari), awarded for catering for its sustainable menus that tell the story of local cuisine. The “Camper” award, on the other hand, went to Camping Vidor – Family & Wellness Resort in Pozza di Fassa (Trento), equipped with large spaces that are easy to maneuver and many other five-star services for guests aboard a camper.
