Three days of debates, seminars, meetings on the world of camping and outdoor tourism. From 11 to 13 October the InOut fair will see operators from the tourism and outdoor hospitality sectors gathered in Rimini to plan the future, also visiting the stands of exhibitors who will offer the best furniture and equipment for camping and villages. While waiting for the event, of which Mondo Camping is a media partner, we interviewed Gloria Armiri, group brand manager Tourism & Hospitality Division of the Italian Exhibition Group, to preview the news of the next edition.<\/p>\n\n
For the 2023 edition you chose the theme “Utopia”, why?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n “The entire travel and tourism sector is in a phase of major rethinking of product and offering models. Having a utopian thought, capable of looking beyond the box, facilitates the innovative process and helps to make strategy on the basis of a profoundly transforming market framework, in which social and environmental emergencies have a weight that is anything but negligible. The industry is working on this \u2013 this is why we find ourselves in the time of Utopia \u2013 and in our Arenas we will talk in depth about how it is doing it.”<\/p>\n\n What numbers do you expect for the 2023 edition of Sia Hospitality Design?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n “The 2023 edition will see Sia Hospitality Design within InOut, a unique marketplace dedicated to the world of hospitality which is completed with Sun Beach&Outdoor Style, Superfaces and the new Greenscape, always at the same time as TTG Travel Experience. In terms of confirmations, the new event has attracted truly significant interest and will present completely new product sectors, with companies from the world of swimming pools and wellness and the outdoor world for a total exhibition area that will eventually occupy the entire east side of the exhibition center . We expect an equally significant success also in terms of attendance during the three days of the event.”<\/p>\n\n What is the state of health of open air tourism? Have the sector’s exhibitors at the fair grown?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n “The sector is in excellent health. It was already so before the pandemic, because climate changes favor life in natural spaces, where temperatures are more pleasant. The pandemic has further accelerated the surge in requests, pushing many people to opt for outdoor accommodation solutions that guarantee distancing. Finally, there is no doubt that the need to regain contact with greenery and other living species, expressed by a good part of travelers belonging to the younger groups, is not only contributing to increasing demand, but suggests that in future years this may record a further increase. The return of foreign operators and the confirmation of historic companies as exhibitors are indicators of the strategic importance of the Sia Hospitality Design event for the sector; the integration of open air tourism within the marketplace will facilitate meeting, discussion and business between operators not only from the open air world but from the entire hospitality sector”.<\/p>\n\n What does the InOut program provide for outdoor tourism operators?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n “It is a particularly rich programme, which ranges from projects by architects also specialized in outdoor hospitality – in which trees and natural materials are enhanced with extremely innovative design solutions aimed at promoting life in nature – to bioethics, green furniture for the most diverse spaces: gardens, patios, gazebos, roof tops. Then there is a large space dedicated to water and swimming pools, which are also spaces now widely used outdoors, by any type of customer: from camping to glamping up to the most sophisticated hotel business. All projects and proposals that are an expression of that utopian thought we talked about.
