European Camping Group announces the appointment of S\u00e9bastien Manceau <\/strong>as executive chairman. He succeeds Alain Calm\u00e9, who becomes chairman of the group’s supervisory board. A European leader in outdoor hotels, European Camping Group <\/a>announced a management change on Jan. 16. He succeeds, indeed, Alain Calm\u00e9 <\/strong>who becomes chairman of the Supervisory Board after leading the group for 14 years alongside Philippe de Tr\u00e9miolles <\/strong>European Camping Group. Philippe de Tr\u00e9miolles will continue to serve as CEO and CFO of ECG. <\/p>\n\n

Who is S\u00e9bastien Manceau<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

An ESCP Europe graduate and ECG’s new president, S\u00e9bastien Manceau, 40, had already joined the group last summer as deputy general manager<\/strong> in charge of strategy and the residential model in June 2023<\/strong>. He previously worked for 16 years at the strategy consulting firm Roland Berger as senior partner in charge of tourism and distribution and co-head of the Paris office. In addition to assisting European Camping Group for several years on various missions including. the acquisition and integration of Vacanceselect<\/a>, has worked with most of the companies engaged in the tourism sector (Accor, Belambra, Louvre H\u00f4tels, Club Med, etc.). “In 2012, I immersed myself in the world of camping and immediately fell in love with this industry that has no shortage of challenges<\/em> “, S\u00e9bastien Manceau explained to OT Camping. “I am delighted with the opportunity I have been given to lead ECG (…) It is our duty to be visionaries and to offer our customers rich and unforgettable experiences that respect our environment<\/em>“. <\/p>\n\n

European Camping Gruop, company 700 million turnover<\/h2>\n\n

European Camping Group owns more than one hundred campsites<\/a> <\/a>own and has 45,000 accommodations in more than 450 facilities throughout Europe<\/strong>. Since 2007, ECG has multiplied EBITDA by 30 to reach about 200 million in 2023<\/strong>.
