Not only long ribbons of sand combed by the wind as the west coast resorts, among the most beautiful and scenic <em><strong>Amado<\/strong>, <strong>Bordeira<\/strong><\/em> and <strong>\n  <em>Monte Clerigo<\/em>\n<\/strong>, there are also plenty of small bays nestled between rock walls such as the enchanting <em><strong>Manta Rota<\/strong> <\/em>e <strong>\n  <em>Altura<\/em>\n<\/strong>,<strong> <\/strong>where the waters are calm and tranquil, populated by posidonia algae.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beautiful destinations, which are also increasingly in demand among travelers who want to spend an<strong><em> outdoor<\/em> vacation<\/strong>, alternating between beach relaxation and <strong>cultural offerings<\/strong>, discovering seaside villages along the coast or inland, where clusters of whitewashed villages, and historic towns such as <strong>\n  <em>Faro, Albufeira<\/em>\n<\/strong>, <strong>\n  <em>Lagos<\/em>\n<\/strong> e <strong>\n  <em>Portim\u00e3o<\/em>\n<\/strong>. With pleasant weather for most of the year and easy access to beaches and natural parks, the<strong>Algarve is an ideal place for camping<\/strong>. You can choose<em>on-the-road <\/em>to stop at multiple locations, visit the most beautiful beaches and major centers, or stay stationary in one facility. Whatever your tour, you can save money by pitching a tent, or renting a bungalow or structure within the camping areas.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Always avoid free camping<\/strong> as it is strictly prohibited as in all of Portugal. Transgression results in penalties exceeding 250 euros. If you want to consider an alternative to camping facilities, look for pitches used for RVs and overcabs; there are numerous along the coasts.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tips for a top stay, strictly outdoors<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the Algarve, as in other destinations in the country, you&#8217;ll find a good mix of <strong>well-equipped campgrounds<\/strong>, some facilities having everything from restaurants to swimming pools to tennis courts. Prominent among the region&#8217;s proposals are the<strong>\n  <em>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orbitur.pt\/en\/destinations\/algarve\/orbitur-sagres\">Orbitur Sagres<\/a>\n  <\/em>\n<\/strong>, overlooking the spectacular Costa Vicentina, along the southwestern tip of the coast, and the <strong>\n  <em>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.campingalbufeira.pt\">Albufeira Camping<\/a>\n  <\/em>\n<\/strong>, located along the southern coast and considered one of the best campsites in Portugal.
