The island offers beaches of soft, white sand lapped by a crystal-clear sea, small coves amid wooded backdrops of Mediterranean scrub, and a verdant hinterland designed by rolling hills cloaked in leafy forests of Mediterranean pines<\/strong>, not surprisingly, the Greeks named the islands Ibiza and Formentera, belonging to the same geological nature, Pitiuse<\/em>, “pine islands.” <\/p>\n\n

An open-air<\/em> vacation is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in this Mediterranean gem and discover its most authentic side. Ibiza offers some beautiful camping facilities, some with the maximum of services to offer all the comforts to Guests, others really original, a reminder of the hippy atmospheres of yesteryear. <\/p>\n\n

Campgrounds offer an immersive and experiential stay; they also prove to be more economical<\/strong> solutions for a stay<\/strong> than hotel accommodations, especially in high season when prices can become very challenging. <\/p>\n\n

The most popular camping facilities <\/h2>\n\n

Along the east coast<\/strong> of the island there are three beautiful camping facilities, two very original, a short distance from the town of \n Santa Eulalia des Riu<\/em>\n<\/strong>, the third largest town on the island located along the east coast, full of stores, restaurants and a beautiful and elegant Marina. <\/p>\n\n

The Camping Es Can\u00e1<\/strong><\/a> is located in the eponymous locality of Es Can\u00e1<\/em><\/strong>, just 6 kilometers from the city, the ideal stay if you want an immersive vacation but at the same time with a touch of panache: the facility has accommodations in colorful cabins, bungalows and even wooden barrels, capsules and cubes perfectly adapted for living solutions. A “stay in art” nestled in 6 hectares of forest, just a step away from the small town of Es Can\u00e1<\/em> and the beach. <\/p>\n\n

For those nostalgic for the hippy world, the Camping La Playa Ibiza<\/em><\/strong> <\/a>takes you back to the evocative and colorful 60s-70s among vintage atmospheres and modern services. This and much more makes the property, adjacent to the famous Punta Arab\u00ed Hippy<\/em> Market and a stone’s throw from tranquil Cala Martina<\/em>, a trip back in time among colorful caravans and aluminum models. <\/p>\n\n

Also along the beautiful east coast of the island, just 50 meters from the crystal clear waters of Cala Nova<\/em>, is the eponymous \n \n Cala Nova Camping<\/em>\n <\/strong>\n<\/a>. A cozy and very quiet family-run facility since 1984.<\/p>\n\n

For a real dive into nature, the west coast<\/strong> of the island is an authentic place to be<\/em>. There are many coves here, crescents of pale sand as stages on breathtaking sunsets. <\/p>\n\n

If you love absolute peace and quiet, the <\/em><\/strong>\n \n Camping Cala Bassa<\/em>\n <\/strong>\n<\/a> is the one for you. Since 1958 this historic property has offered all the magic and authenticity of an open-air<\/em> vacation, surrounded by green woods and Mediterranean scents.<\/p>\n\n

An alternative along the west coast of the island is the Ibiza Park <\/strong>by Camping San Antonio<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, located a short distance from the island’s second largest town, San Antonio<\/strong>. A Dutch-run Glamping Resort, the perfect place to combine freedom and comfort, always with a touch of style. The newly renovated facility offers ideal accommodations for experiencing a vacation in the open air but with all the amenities. Suitable for families with children: relax in the beautiful solarium with pool, while the little ones play in the lovely children’s area. There is fun for everyone here. <\/p>\n\n

Parks and nature reserves, the beautiful Ibizan nature<\/h2>\n\n

Hiking trails are plentiful in Ibiza, so are opportunities for beautiful dives suitable for all levels of experience. There is no shortage of activities to experience nature between land and sea. <\/p>\n\n

To explore and learn about the \n Ses Salines Park<\/em>\n<\/strong>, included between the southern part of Ibiza and the north of Formentera, has 1,786.52 terrestrial and 13,611.80 marine hectares, a true paradise of biodiversity. The area is a Biodiversity Reserve<\/strong>, and its underwater habitat is home to the magnificent Posidonia oceanica meadows, the best preserved in the Mediterranean. These aquatic plants play such an important role for the terrestrial ecosystem that they are considered a true lung of the sea by filtering water and releasing oxygen. <\/p>\n

Another beautiful nature area to visit is the \n Nature Reserve de Es Vedr\u00e0, Es Vedranell i els Illots de Ponent<\/em>\n<\/strong>, southwest of Ibiza, in the municipality of Sant Josep de Sa Talaia<\/em>. The reserve is a magnificent destination for practicing beautiful hiking trails, as well as participating in boat trips and diving for unforgettable dives. There are many who walk the intertwining scenic trails, especially to admire the majestic rocky island of\n Es Vedr\u00e0<\/em>\n<\/strong>, which can be admired from the southwestern coast of Ibiza. This uninhabited land is a place rich in stories and legends, considered one of the most magnetic points on Earth rising from the cobalt blue waters of the Mediterranean. <\/p>\n
