Germany&#8217;s largest <em>land <\/em>after Bavaria, puts all its money on green logic for environmental protection and quality camping stays, significant input to green tourism. Since 2023, it has been distinguished by the project <strong>\n  <em>&#8220;Green Campsites in Lower Saxony&#8221;<\/em>\n<\/strong><em>, <\/em>sponsored by the state government of Lower Saxony and organized by the<em> BVCD Niedersachsen<\/em>, an action plan that has received great interest from facilities in the area.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The project aims to achieve greater awareness of environmental issues, ambitious climate protection plans and CO2 savings. A rationale that goes well with the protection of the land&#8217;s territories, which hold an important heritage of biodiversity, landscapes of forests, river plains, heaths and moors, wisely alternating with farmland; and still overlooking the North Sea and the Frisian Islands, campsites in Lower Saxony allow one to stay amidst a great deal of natural variety. Lower Saxony is also home to the L\u00fcneburg Heath, the largest continuous heathland in Europe and one of the most popular camping vacation destinations in all of Germany.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eco-friendly campsites in Lower Saxony, the plan  <\/h2>\n\n<p>In the medium and long term, <em>Niedersachsen<\/em> campsites will implement the climate protection plan, which includes a number of technical measures, such as:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Construction of photovoltaic systems;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>installation of heat pumps;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improving building insulation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optimization of consumption and use of waste heat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Individual action plans also include design aspects, such as:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Shading and greening of buildings;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use of public transportation for travel and excursions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adaptation of the stores, clubs, and restaurants of the campgrounds with sourcing of local products.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The federal state Niedersachsen , &#8220;Lower Saxony,&#8221; in the northwest of the country, follows a plan that is outlined as a strong example for climate protection.
