50th edition of Hospitality – The Hospitality Show: “OF EVERYONE Possible Horizons,” an interactive experience to go through

It’s a short time until Hospitality – The Exhibition of Hospitality., the international event that will take place from February 2 to 5 at the Riva del Garda exhibition center. A leading kermesse in Italy for the hotellerie and catering world, which celebrates its 50th edition in 2026, confirming itself as a hub of innovation and hospitality culture.

One of this year’s focuses is“OF EVERYONE Possible Horizons,” much more than just an installation to look at. It is a booth designed as a sensory and physical map, aninteractive experience to walk through, with an approach that integrates universal design, neuroscience and sustainability.

The entire design aims at sensory comfort for all and is based on multisensory wayfinding (with organically shaped totems, visual-tactile maps, and QR codes with speech synthesis), acoustic, olfactory, and inclusive lighting design, combined with modular and reusable logic (ESG).

An immersive journey consisting of 6 stages, the perfect place to discover concrete and replicable outdoor solutions:

  1. Reception: The reception truly for everyone, with tactile map, audio description and automatic transcription for people with hearing difficulties.
  2. The Road: Physically experience how path materials (grass, gravel, stabilized) affect usability and walking.
  3. The Slope Challenge: Test the difference between range and fatigue by comparing ramps at 5% (most inclusive) and 8% (the normative maximum).
  4. The Sensory Garden: An oasis of calm inspired by neuroscience. Here, natural sounds, shading and controlled circadian light promote mental and physical well-being and reduce sensory overload.
  5. The Traveler’s Stop: A relaxation area equipped with ischial seating, designed for those who need frequent breaks (invisible disabilities, the elderly, pregnant women). Includes an olfactory game to stimulate memory and well-being.
  6. The Horizon Map: An interactive panel to leave your feedback, contributing in real time to build the common horizon of future hospitality.

Inclusive design leads to quality solutions for all, realizing a competitive advantage in the medium to long term for the hospitality and catering industry.
