PiNCAMP, the ADAC camping portal, announces the nominees for the ADAC Camping Awards 2024. The locations selected for these awards come from Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Croatia, Austria, the Netherlands, and Great Britain. An international committee of 44 camping experts selected the nominees from hundreds of submissions from the camping industry. The nominated locations compete in the categories of sustainability and environmental awareness, innovation and progress, demographic change and accessibility, as well as the ADAC Camping Booking Award.
Uwe Frers, General Manager of ADAC Camping GmbH, explains the importance of this award: “With the ADAC Camping Awards we honor the forerunners of the camping industry. The awards are to the camping industry what the Oscars are to the film industry.”
Nominees in the “Sustainability and Environmental Awareness” category include:
- Fornella Camping & Wellness Family Resort (Italy)
- Camping Beauregard Plage (France)
- Camping The Quiet Site (UK)
Nominees in the “Innovation and Progress” category include:
- Camping Le Sérignan Plage Nature (France)
- Caravan park Sexten (Italy)
- Camping & Resort Sanguli Salou (Spain)
While the nominees in the “Demographic Change and Accessibility” category are:
- Campingplatz Haumühle (Germany)
- Camping De Wildhoeve (Netherlands)
- Camping Salatà (Spain)
Finally, the nominees in the “ADAC Camping Reservation” category are:
- Holiday Park Beerze Bulten (Netherlands)
- Camping Seeblick Toni (Austria)
- Camping Čikat (Croatia)
The ADAC Camping Awards 2024 ceremony will be held as a live event during the PiNCAMP (ADAC) Camping Gala in Stuttgart on January 12, 2024.
