In addition, personal information is always listed on the card“.
A solution increasingly demanded by facilities: “Over time, we noticed that campgrounds close to the participating campgrounds also wanted to participate in our initiative the following year. Check-in has also become much easier and faster
The new digital ACSI CampingCard has a QR code which can be scanned by a smartphone, tablet, PC or laptop camera. For facilities, a quick and easy way to capture all client data and record it in the campground system, a faster alternative to manual transcription. In addition, the QR code is updated every five minutes, integrating a moving element. This makes it virtually impossible to counterfeit copies.
What if the camping facility does not present a camera at the front desk useful for reading? Van Reine responds, “Campsites can enter the unique code on the card by hand. Even then the campsite will have access to all the data.”
