The Dutch-Italian group “Holidays with the Heart,” revolutionizes the concept of open-air luxury living by limiting the impact on the environment through the “horizontal hotellerie” model. This planning makes it possible to organize spaces and services-private and communal-at a high level, at “country level,” extending over a large area surrounded by nature, without vertical logic, typical of the multi-story concrete structures of hotels.
The originator of this concept that is as simple as it is revolutionary is Loek Van de Loo, the one who managed to change the concept of glamping by encouraging the initially paradoxical combination of luxury and nature. To date, the “Holidays with the Heart” group has nine glamping resorts for “horizontal stays,” and the Italian operations office is located in Manerba del Garda (BS). Trasimeno Glamping Resort will open its doors next June 30. 6 hectares overlooking one of Umbria’s most picturesque viewpoints, which will house state-of-the-art mobile homes, tent-safaris, one-of-a-kind accommodations, and RV and caravan sites, with direct access to the lake, with beach and jetty. Two barrier-free housing units have been set up for Guests with limited mobility.
