Salon SETT 2026: The Outdoor Hospitality Trade Show Kicks Off in Montpellier

The 47th edition of the Salon SETT in Montpellier—the European trade show for trends in outdoor tourism and hospitality—kicked off today, and we at Mondo Camping couldn’t miss it.

With over 700 exhibiting companies spread across 60,000 square meters and 7 themed pavilions at the Parc des Expositions, the event reaffirms its status as the international benchmark for the entire outdoor industry. The event, organized by FHPA Occitanie in collaboration with partner federations and held in conjunction with the 52nd FNHPA Congress, welcomes industry professionals from across Europe to showcase the latest innovations in accommodations, mobile homes, wellness equipment, recreational activities, furnishings, and digital solutions. Among this year’s most anticipated innovations is the integration of high technology into the tourism hospitality sector, featuring cutting-edge solutions that put drones and humanoid robots to work in support of hospitality facilities.

The Schedule of Events at Salon SETT 2026

The three-day event in Montpellier offers a packed schedule of conferences, roundtables, and institutional networking opportunities dedicated to outdoor professionals.

Tuesday, November 3: Opening Ceremony, Market Data, and the Sett d’Or

The event kicked off with the opening of the exhibition halls at 10:00 a.m., followed at 11:00 a.m. by the official opening ceremony of the 47th edition of SETT and the 52nd FNHPA Congress in the Accueil A area, in the presence of President Nicolas Dayot and the leadership of the organizing federations.

In the afternoon, starting at 3:00 p.m. (Room 1 of the Conference Center), the focus will shift to an analysis of the recently concluded tourist season. The meeting, led by Nicolas Dayot, FNHPA Secretary General Maxime Cellier, and Alain Desprès (Atout France), will also address issues related to the revitalization of small lodging facilities, taxation related to business transfers, and regulatory changes affecting the sector.

The day will conclude at 6:00 p.m. with the SETT d’Or ceremony: the 19th edition of the award will honor the five exhibiting companies that have distinguished themselves for innovation, quality of services, products, and sustainability.

Wednesday, November 4: Sustainability, Drones, and Internationalization

The second day begins at 10:00 a.m. with the FNHPA General Assembly, followed at 12:00 p.m. by the presentation of the 5th edition of the Trophées du développement durable, awards given to campgrounds that have implemented exemplary initiatives to protect the environment.

At 1:00 p.m., the Cocktail Européen, organized by FHPA Occitanie, is scheduled to take place. This is an important opportunity for cross-border networking that underscores the fair’s growing international stature, with foreign trade visitors now accounting for over 13% of the total.

The afternoon program will continue at 2:30 p.m. with an in-depth look at new technologies applied to outdoor tourism, focusing on the use of drones and robotic solutions for safety, emergency management, and guest services. Finally, at 6:00 p.m., the SETT Awards ceremony will take place, organized by FHPA Occitanie in collaboration with the magazine L’Officiel des Terrains de Camping to recognize the best management projects.
