Summer 2024 figures confirm last year’s success, the Abruzzo season seems to be closing on a high note for the outdoor vacation sector, although official figures have not yet been confirmed.
This was stated by Faita Federcamping Abruzzo President Giuseppe Delli Compagni, who, interviewed by Il Centro – Quotidiano d’Abruzzo, pointed out that the regional open-air sector is registering excellent results, with further room for improvement with respect to 2023.
This is a more than reliable prediction considering that almost all camping facilities and resorts record a full house for the entire month of August and the first week of September, following the full house in June and July with very high attendance numbers.
Giuseppe Delli Compagni told the Abruzzo Newspaper, “Giugno and July confirmed the positive trends of 2023, and for August and September there is a sell-out. On the part of tourists after the covid there has been a change in mentality and a desire to change the type of vacation by choosing an offer in contact with nature, also benefiting from the many offers that our land can give.” .
