I Best Camping Village Awards award those who make outdoor hospitality special, facilities in close contact with nature but with all the comforts, quality services and an authentic welcome. This is a highly anticipated event, promoted by Teamwork, a consulting firm specializing in the hospitality industry, in collaboration with Hospitality – The Hospitality Show.
Participation in the awards is free and open to all accommodation facilities, independent being part of groups, belonging to international circuits or affiliated with international brands. The nominated facilities will be evaluated by a jury of tourism professionals with specific expertise in the field of outdoor hospitality who will evaluate and award 8 categories, here the regulations.
The finalists, three in each category, will be announced on December 15, while the winners will be announced at the official ceremony on February 4, 2026 in Riva del Garda.
The 8 award categories
- Best reception and service: dedicated to the camping village that excels in hospitality and attention to guests. Special attention is given to personalizing the experience and creating a familiar and welcoming environment for both new visitors and repeat guests.
- Best glamping experience: facilities that offer safari tents, designer lodges, bubble rooms, tree houses or other innovative lodging solutions with premium amenities such as king-size beds, private bathrooms, rooftop terraces, gourmet breakfasts and exclusive activities.
- Best Accessible Hospitality: awards the camping village for the accessibility of the facility. Attention to: barrier-free routes, services designed for people with disabilities or special needs is evaluated.
- Best Entertainment Program: recognizes the camping village that offers the most engaging and comprehensive entertainment program. Evening shows, creative workshops, children’s activities, special events, group games, theme parties and live shows are evaluated.
- Best relaxation and wellness experience: Those with spas, wellness centers, thermal pools, aromatherapy trails, outdoor yoga, massages or exclusive treatments are recognized. The wellness experience is not limited to services, but also includes a relaxing atmosphere that is surrounded by nature and can rejuvenate body and mind.
- Best sports and outdoor offer: awards the camping village that offers the best range of sports and outdoor activities. The selection is based on the variety and quality of experiences offered: hiking, trekking, mountain biking, water sports, climbing, sports camps, fitness classes, kayak tours, surfing or sailing.
- Best sustainability program: facilities that adopt virtuous practices such as energy conservation, plastic reduction, responsible waste management, sustainable mobility, etc.
- Best services, areas and shared spaces: awards the camping village that offers the best maintained, functional and welcoming shared areas. We evaluate the quality and variety of services (market, restaurants, barbecue areas, laundries, bike rental or info point), and shared spaces (shaded areas, walking paths, playgrounds, coworking areas).
