Baia dei Lombardi

The Baia dei Lombardi campsite is located 7 km from Vieste, directly on a splendid bay of fine sand that gently slopes into the limpid waters of the sea. The village is surrounded by the scent of maritime pines, eucalyptus and olive trees in the natural setting of the Gargano Park, an ideal starting point for all kinds of excursions. Mountain bike tours with guide and equipment, enchanting motor boat trips to the sea caves and the beautiful Tremiti Islands are organised. Near the village there is also an ultralight flight school with the possibility of panoramic flights over the beautiful Gargano coastline. It has masonry bungalows, two-room and three-room apartments with air conditioning and all with an outdoor veranda, kitchenette complete with refrigerator and kitchenware. The Baia dei Lombardi Camping Village also has comfortable mobile homes, pitches for campers, caravans and tents, EEC-compliant power sockets, and newly built toilets with free hot showers. There is a restaurant-pizzeria with bar, newsagent-bazaar, supermarket with greengrocer, children’s playground, table tennis, games room and in July and August entertainment for young and old alike.
