Camp Vira

Completely renovated and reopened in 2006, Vira is a four-star campsite located 4 kilometres northwest of the town of Hvar. Over the years it has won a number of quality awards including an ADAC Yellow board award. Accommodating 500 guests, the camp’s beach is partly rocky and partly pebbly with a flat area for sunbathing. The beach is recognised as the most beautiful beach on the entire island of Hvar. In line with the camp’s environmentally friendly policies, the sanitary facilities use solar energy. Facilities include a beach volleyball court, mini golf, billiards, pedal boats, kayaks, entertainment programmes for children and adults, as well as diving and sailing courses. Approximately 600 metres from the camp in Vira is a sports centre that provides basketball, tennis courts and other sports pastimes that can be used by camp guests.
