Camping Meltemi

About 3 km after Gythion, on the provincial road to Areopolis, you will find the campsite. Within our 100 hectare olive grove, which has been awarded several times, we like to think that you too will find your own space to enjoy rest and recreation. The sandy beach, ideal for your evening strolls, which proudly stretches for 4.5 km, is also a place of refuge for the loggerhead turtle Caretta-caretta, a well-known protected species. The sea, immense and calm, does not take long to swell when the god Poseidon decides to please surfers. Surfers, arriving in hordes from all over the world, set up their equipment in the special areas waiting patiently for ‘meltemi’ (hence the name of our campsite), the right wind!
