La Giara

The campsite is located a few metres from the archaeological site of Paestum, which has attracted visitors and scholars from all over the world for centuries.
The scent of roses captivates them; the Via Sacra, lined with ‘Tabernae’ and oleanders, crosses the ‘Decumanus Maximus’ directing the view into the Roman city.
Just outside Porta Marina, the sea is close at hand, the distant echoes of the buffalo farmers in the parks and the thick pine forest bordering the immense beach.
