Margherita

Open since 1971, the family-run mountain campsite Margherita owes its name to Grandma Grittle, the Walser equivalent of Margherita. Because Gressoney, in addition to being a natural paradise for those who love the mountains, sport, fun and relaxation, is also synonymous with Walser and ancient cultural traditions. It is located in a large flat area covering 20,000 square metres on the banks of the River Lys at an altitude of 1385 metres. Margherita has become not only a campsite but also a resort. Guests can now also stay in a completely new area including a wellness centre and 5 lodgings, built using the latest eco-friendly climate house technology and equipped with underfloor heating and solar panels.
