The virtual ranking that rewards beautiful realities, able to stand out for hospitality, efficiency of services and location. The portal that has made possible this competition “by dint of clicks” is Camping.info. There were 55,000 outdoor tourism enthusiasts who expressed their preference: 110 the most appreciated facilities among more than 23,000 in 44 EU countries.
Campsites that were top rated are located in Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Montenegro, Poland, Spain, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sweden, Denmark, Slovenia and Greece.
The podium of the Camping.info Award 2025
Stepping onto the first step of the podium was the German Campingpark Kühlungsborn, which for the fifth consecutive year has won the Camping.info Award gold medal. The campsite is located in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and is popular for its excellent facilities, services, and beautiful location overlooking the beautiful Baltic Sea.
In second place is the South Tyrolean Luxury Camping Schlosshof, in the town of Lana, a stone’s throw from Merano. Strong points, in addition to the excellent facilities and renowned cuisine, are the wellness world that offers its Guests the best treatments and activities. The enchanting infinity pool does not go unnoticed.
In third place was Austria’s Camping Sonnenland Lutzmannsburg, located next to a swimming lake surrounded by nature that offers opportunities for many sports activities, a highlight of Burgenland . The facility is popular with families and for those traveling with animal friends.

Six Austrian, three German and one Italian campsites qualify among the top 10, excelling in making up the Top 10 Best Campsites in Europe according to Camping.info Award.
