Christmas is just around the corner, and for campings it already seems to be time for good news. According to data released by Campings.com, bookings for the 2024 season have already started and are up from last year. Tourists who have already booked a camping vacation-through the portal-have increased by 33 percent. Fifty percent of the choices fell on the summer period.
Favourite destinations
For Campings.com, Spain is the most sought-after destination, but the three areas currently most popular are Vendée, Brittany and Languedoc. All in France. Campings.com has compared the current data with that of November 2022 and noted some already very significant differences for campsite managers.
