Caravan Salon 20 24 took place in Düsseldorf from August 30 to September 8, 2024, with results exceeding expectations. The event once again confirmed itself as the most important meeting place for the world of caravanning, which was confirmed by the numbers: 778 exhibitors from 35 countries presented their innovations and latest models in 16 exhibition halls and the large outdoor area totaling more than 250,000 square meters. An event attended by more than 250,000 visitors.
Lots of key players: recreational vehicles of all sizes and price ranges, mobile homes, awnings and rooftop tents, as well as technical equipment, accessories and a wide range of tourism products. One particularly positive note that did not go unnoticed was the presence of numerous industry professionals who came to Düsseldorf from Asia, Australia, South America and the United States to gather information on the latest news and innovations in the caravanning world.
A positive result also confirmed by Marius Berlemann, General Manager of Messe Düsseldorf: “We see the high visitor turnout as a confirmation of the successful cooperation between exhibitors, the Caravaning Industrie Verband and our trade fair company.” He adds, “Caravanning is perfectly in line with today’s world and is a flexible and attractive form of travel. It embodies freedom, individuality and closeness to nature .”
Words of satisfaction also came from Bernd Löher, president of the Caravaning Industrie Verband (CIVD):”The largest Caravan Salon ever exceeded the highest expectations. With more than a quarter of a million visitors, the exhibition halls and outdoor spaces were very crowded, and the atmosphere among trade show visitors was positive throughout the event “.
After the conclusion of the 2024 edition, all that remains is to wait for the 64th edition to be held from August 29 to September 7, 2025.
