Also returning this year is the Caravan Salon in the German city considered the international capital of mobile leisure. The curtain will open on Aug. 30 with a jam-packed program of events and meetings, must-attend events for industry professionals that offer an opportunity to catch up on the latest innovations and market trends. The fair also serves as a showcase on the latest caravan and RV models, and all compatible technologies and accessories that can be purchased on-site.
Caravan Salon has 16 pavilions with a total of 750 exhibitors, the perfect opportunity to learn and get up-to-date on vehicle technology, components but also about add-ons such as tents, mobile homes, caravanning and camping accessories, and all outdoor equipment.
In addition to being one of the most important exhibition fairs in the industry, Caravan Salon is distinguished by the busy program that will enliven the ten-day event. Prominent among the various events will be the Camping Destination Day, an event moderated by Markus Tressel, president of the Travel Industry Club, scheduled for Wednesday, September 4.
This session is dedicated to regional tourism destinations, a space that includes lectures and interactive sessions designed to delve into issues related to the developments achieved by individual localities, an opportunity to also take stock of future trends and pre-set goals for regional development.
