The Congrés de Càmpings de Catalunya, will be held on April 15, 16, and 17, 2026 at the Ciutat Castle in Seu d’Urgell, in the city of Lleida, the second largest city in the province of Catalonia. The important event, organized by the Catalan Camping Federation (FCC), will bring together various representatives of the open-air sector with the aim of consolidating Catalonia as a key destination in this field. The event also aims to be a meeting point for professionals belonging to this business fabric and to promote the local tourism business network internationally.

The 2026 edition will revolve around the theme “The future of Catalan campsites: smart safety, prevention and risk management,” with the main objective of promoting debate and knowledge sharing on safety, prevention and innovation in Catalan campsites.

The Congrés de Càmpings de Catalunya is an event where companies and suppliers in the open-air sector share ideas and opinions and where existing ties are strengthened and new ones are created in the tourism sphere where a few key points emerge, those of representing the sector before the authorities and the public, defending the interests of campground owners.

It also aims to strengthen the presence of campsites in tourism industry bodies and organizations, contributing to the creation of new jobs and tourism development in Catalonia by encouraging and providing the tools for training in the sector. Finally, the goal is to promote the excellent tourist quality of Catalan campsites, which are capable of standing out throughout Europe.

The Congress of Campsites of Catalonia will take place over three days (registration free of charge) and will follow a rich program (click here to find out): presentations, debates and workshops during which experts and companies in the sector will present the latest innovations and services outlining future trends at the European level. An interesting confrontation to contextualize a fast-changing sector that aims at innovation without distorting the authenticity of a proposal in close contact with nature.
