Dl milleproroghe: Mitur extends end of work for upgrading of tourism enterprises by one year

In a statement dated Dec. 9, 2024, the Ministry of Tourism discloses the postponements contained in the Decreto Legge Milleproroghe approved by the Council of Ministers. Tourism businesses will have therefore more time to finish work and access the five measures aimed at enhancing the national tourism offer. Businesses will have until December 31, 2025 to complete the interventions.

In particular, the second measure, provides for the conclusion of some interventions, with respect to which it is provided, in favor of tourism enterprises, the recognition of two contributions: one in the form of a tax credit of up to 80 percent of the expenses incurred, and the other in the form of a non-repayable contribution of no more than 50 percent of the expenses incurred, with respect to interventions to increase the energy efficiency of facilities and earthquake-proof upgrading, elimination of architectural barriers, building interventions functional to the previous interventions, construction of spa pools and acquisition of equipment and appliances for the performance of spa activities, as well as digitalization interventions.

The recipients of this measure are:

– hotel enterprises;
– enterprises engaged in agritourism activities;
– enterprises operating open-air accommodation facilities;
– enterprises in the tourism, recreation, fair and conference sector, including bathing establishments, spa complexes, marinas, theme parks, including water and wildlife parks.
