FAITA Federcamping at BTM Italy 2026

BTM, the Business Tourism Management Fair, is a highly anticipated event for travel professionals, and will take place Feb. 25-27, 2026 at the Fiera del Levante in Bari. Among the many themes and proposals of the rich program, the open air has an increasingly prominent role, thanks to its hospitality model, which is authentic but at the same time innovative: state-of-the-art stays in close contact with nature, able to create employment, a connection with the territories and enhance the local communities.

On the occasion of BTM 2026, FAITA Federcamping will participate with a panel entitled:“Open Air – Resource for Southern Italy. Quality, Sustainability and Innovation for Tourism,” a not-to-be-missed event scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Hospitality Hall.

At the center of the meeting, focus on the competitiveness of Italian tourism, particularly in the South. Recent regulatory simplifications regarding the installation of mobile homes will also be addressed, an in-depth study that will shed light on cadastral and landscape aspects, with the aim of better interpreting the legislative renewal in order to promote an orderly and sustainable increase in the sector.

Another main theme of the meeting will be the presentation of the “OPEN AIR HUB” project, which spans the world of artificial intelligence. As FAITA Federcamping reports, ” This is a project, developed in collaboration with OpenRosetta.ai, aims to make daily management more efficient and structured, supporting businesses in decision-making, internal organization and optimization of services offered to guests. A step that testifies to how the sector is evolving not only in terms of experiential offerings, but also in terms of managerial and technological “.

At the meeting “Open Air – Resource for the South. Quality, Sustainability and Innovation for Tourism” will speak:

  • Hon. Gianluca Caramanna, FdI Group Leader in the Committee on Productive Activities, Trade and Tourism and Advisor to the Minister of Tourism
  • Marco Sperapani, General Manager FAITA Federcamping
  • Luca Vescovi, OpenRosetta.ai – Research and Development, FAITA Open Air Hub project

#BTM2026 is the best time to learn about, deepen and create new prospects for development, including in the open air, the driving sector of Italian tourism.
