José Frasquet is the new president of the Federation of Campgrounds of the Valencian Community (FCCV), an independent business organization that has been integrated with the three provincial associations of Castellón, Valencia and Alicante since 1999. In the provinces, Alicante has the largest number of campsites in the association movement, with 91 percent of the supply. Castellón has 70 percent and Valencia 67 percent.
Frasquet was appointed at the last regular meeting, in a meeting attended by the Federation’s leading members. He is distinguished for his expertise in the open air sector, and currently, he is CEO Kikotur, the company that owns Kikopark campsites.
As his next goals, the new president has already set out again to strengthen the competitiveness of open air facilities in the Valencian Community by focusing mainly ontechnological innovation, without forgetting environmental sustainability, a key aspect for the outdoor tourism of tomorrow. He will also focus on constructive dialogue with public administrations in order to boost collaboration with open air facilities.
The Federation of Campgrounds of the Valencian Community is a significant entity in the Spanish outdoor tourism sector, and on the occasion of his appointment, Frasquet was keen to emphasize the solidity of the Federation.
Ultimately, among the FCCV’s main goals are to provide quality customer service by improving its image and positioning in the national and international markets, and to increase the flow of tourists to campsites in the Valencian Community.
