We are very close to the opening of Fitur, a benchmark for business development andglobal expansion of the tourism industry, including the open-air world. A highly anticipated event for those in the industry and beyond, where the latest industry trends and innovations will be presented.
The first three days of the event will be dedicated to professionals who will meet to promote their activities, products and services. Fitur is the ideal place to network but also to learn about all the latest innovations. On the weekend, the fair will also be open to the public, an opportunity to get information but also to take travel notes and ideas for upcoming departures.
At Fitur, anyone can learn more about the destinations on offer, this year with a special focus on Brazil, the partner country for the 2025 edition, the perfect showcase to promote the beauty and culture of its magnificent territory.
Fitur 2025 thematic areas
This 45th edition will see the participation of 156 countries, 9,500 companies and 153,000 professionals.
There will be several thematic areas that point to very important issues:
- FITURTechy, organized in collaboration with the Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero (ITH – Hotel Technology Institute).
- FITUR Know-How & Export, organized by SEGITTUR in collaboration with ICEX España Exportación and Inversiones.
- FITUR LGBT+, which will address various issues in an effort to revitalize tourism and promote the diversity of different destinations under the slogan “Amor por viajar” (Love for travel).
- FITUR Lingua, in collaboration with the Spanish Federation of Associations of Spanish Language Schools for Foreigners, FEDELE.
- FITUR Talent, which will highlight talent and training as engines of tourism development.
- FITUR Woman, which will focus on the role of women in the tourism industry workforce.
- FITUR Screen, which aims to connect the tourism industry with the audiovisual industry, in collaboration with SPAIN FILM COMMISSION.
- FITUR Mice, in the days leading up to the opening of FITUR.
- FITUR Cruises, focused on the cruise industry.
- FITUR Sports, focused on the global sports tourism market.
The goal the organizers have set for 2025 is to exceed 250,000 visitors, including non-industry professionals, numbers in line with last year’s results that testify to great turnout and participation.
