Germany: courses for BVCD/DTV classification officers in campsites

In Germany much emphasis is placed on the quality of certification, which in the context of campsites is provided by the BVCD/DTV classification.

The latter system is used to safeguard quality and transparency among facilities in the sector. The ultimate goal is to give official certification to the goodness of services while providing protection for operators and workers.

In the country there is a full-fledged service company that trains, under ministerial auspices, classification officers in the field. Training is distinguished by type for auditors or refresher training for already operating professionals.

The Auditor Training will be held on a dual location in Bielefeld and Kalletal on the dates of September 4 and 5. The classes include both a theoretical and practical part, a two-day full immersion that aims to administer to those beginning to approach the subject matter the basics that are essential for proper assessment.

On the other hand, for those who are already in the field but would like an in-depth refresher in the field of classification, the training will take place at the Bielefeld location only, on Oct. 14.

Germany’s open air does not go unnoticed, and with these courses it distinguishes itself by offering comprehensive training for an industry characterized by high competitiveness. At the same time, it aims to regulate certification to provide greater general protection and professional guarantees for those who, both as entrepreneurs and workers, are employed in the open-air camping industry.
