The curtain opens on Italy’s leading international event for hôtellerie and catering, organized by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, which takes another step in promotingincreasingly inclusive hospitality.
From tomorrow, June 4, until June 6, Hospitality – Il Salone dell’Accoglienza will be at BolognaFiere among the protagonists of the We Make Future Festival, Italy’s largest trade fair dedicated to digital innovation, with its DI OGNUNO project, an immersive and innovative space that promotes accessible hospitality designed for everyone (Hall 30 stand B38 / A35).
OF EVERYONE is the result of a collaboration with Lombardini22 and Village for all – V4A®, since 2024, an appointment designed for visitors to fully understand the value of inclusive design through a sensory experience: at each edition of the Hospitality fair, the initiative focuses on a representative environment of hospitality; this year, the breakfast room.
The course compares two contrasting contexts: one made with discomfort logic and one that instead enhances comfort, physical, sensory, and food accessibility. The goal is to concretely highlight how design choices can hinder or enhance the guest experience.
“Hospitality Award – Inclusiveness and Hospitality”
On Friday, June 6, at 11:30 a.m. (Stage 3), the winner of “Hospitality Award – Inclusivity and Hospitality,” the contest launched by the Hospitality fair in collaboration with WMF to give visibility to concrete projects capable of breaking down barriers (physical, sensory, cognitive, food and cultural) by making hospitality more inclusive and conscious, will be unveiled.
The most deserving project selected by the committee (made up of experts in hospitality, accessibility, inclusive design and innovation) will be awarded for its contribution to inclusive hospitality and for all. Evaluation criteria will be based on: concrete impact on accessibility and inclusivity for guests; degree of technological, managerial or experiential innovation; sustainability and replicability of the proposed model; and quality of project communication.
The award will be presented by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi General Manager Alessandra Albarelli, who says, “Inclusivity in hospitality, whether in hotels, bars, restaurants, or campgrounds, is a value for both the guest and the people who work in this field. We strive to give an ever-widening audience the opportunity to experience the EVERYONE project. Visitors to We Make Future will also be able to immerse themselves in a unique experience and understand the deep meaning of inclusiveness, not just by observing it, but by living it. We are proud to reward those who, with commitment and passion, transform accessibility into concrete value for the industry and society.” .
