Open Outdoor Experiences is the event designed to enhance the world of outdoor activities, in all its facets. This year the event reaches its fourth edition and is divided into four thematic areas among which the world of camping stands out as a tourism offer in perfect synergy with the natural environment, as well as an increasingly innovative, competitive and sustainable proposal.
The show will take place in the beautiful setting of Paestum – Salerno, at NEXT – Nuova Esposizione Ex Tabacchificio SAIM, borgo di Cafasso, April 10-12, 2026. Open Outdoor Experiences is a project that aims to enhance Italy’s natural and cultural heritage, thus the open air receptive proposal. A comprehensive and qualified event, capable of bringing together operators, companies and territories, all realities with the same common thread: the commitment to an active, sustainable tourism that is ever closer to the needs of a clientele that is aware and attentive to the quality of the experience.
The four thematic areas
Open Outdoor Experiences ranges 360 degrees in the outdoor universe, a rich proposal that follows four precise thematic areas:
- Open Land, an area dedicated to territories with special reference to National and Regional Parks.
- Open Tourism, an area dedicated to the world of associations, specialized offerings, nature and historical cultural routes, and rural agri-food routes.
- Open Trade, an area dedicated to equipment, services and the wide world of ancillary industries.
- Open Village, an area dedicated to the representation of major sustainable and open air sports activities.
The show is a concrete response to the growing interest in green, responsible and open-air tourism, which focuses on connecting with nature and the land, and focuses everything on the Guest’s well-being and experience. Three days full of opportunities: meetings with industry professionals, meetings with experts, in-depth technical and scientific discussions, educational workshops, training activities and testing of the best equipment. Open OutdoorExperiences is an Italian showcase where all the new outdoor trends of the future are concentrated, not to be missed.
