The elite of the European camping industry celebrated the PiNCAMP Gala 2026 and the winners of the PiNCAMP Awards and ANWB Awards at the Friedrichsbau in Stuttgart. Right on time at the opening of the new year, PiNCAMP, the camping portal of ADAC, ANWB and TCS (the three leading national motoring associations of Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland) celebrated the return of ‘the most important event for the entire European open-air tourism industry, with the presentation of awards for the best hospitality projects. Crippaconcept, the largest manufacturer of mobile homes and lodge tents in Italy, has been an official partner of the event for the fifth consecutive year.

An international jury of camping experts selected the winners and nominees of the PiNCAMP Awards from hundreds of entries from the camping industry. Uwe Frers, CEO of PiNCAMP, stresses the importance of the PiNCAMP Awards to the camping industry: “With the PiNCAMP Awards, we honor the pioneers of the European camping industry. This award is to the camping industry what the Oscars are to the film industry “.
The announcement of the winners of the PiNCAMP Awards 2026 was presented by CrippaConcept, physically represented by the work of Genovese artist Alessandro Piano, “Alter Ego.”

- Sustainability and “environmental awareness” category: De Lemeler Esch Natuurcamping, Netherlands.
- “Innovation and Progress” category: Union Lido Mare, Italy.
- “Accommodations for rent” category: Camping & Resort Sanguli Salou , Spain.
These were joined by two awards to as many prominent figures in the field:
- HALL OF FAME that honored the lifetime achievements of Lidija Koren and her contribution to the development of sustainable camping tourism in Slovenia and Europe.
- BEST YOUNG TALENT the award that recognizes young people up to age 35 who have made outstanding contributions to the camping industry, this year awarded to German entrepreneur Dominic Cloudt.
All ANWB AWARDS Winners.
At the start of the gala, the ANWB Awards honored the best family campsites and the best small campsites in the Netherlands and Europe. These awards were determined by a vote among users of anwbcamping.nl.

The 2027 PiNCAMP Awards ceremony is scheduled as a live event during the PiNCAMP Gala at the CMT trade show in Stuttgart in January 2027.
