The European Tourism Trends Exhibition took place Nov. 4-6, 2025 at the Parc des Expositions in Montpellier, recording a record-breaking edition. The three-day event brought together some 20,215 visitors from all over Europe, including 13 percent from abroad, and more than 700 exhibitors spread over 60,000 m².
This 46ᵉ edition confirms the European success of the show, which has become an event with international reach, a European crossroads where the trends, innovations and experiences that will transform the tourism of tomorrow meet.
What has been the strong attractiveness of Salon 2025? The growth recorded this year testifies to the dynamism of the sector, the excellence of the organization, and the ability of the Sett to bring together European players around common challenges such as, ecological transition, attractiveness, innovation and sustainability, as stated by Philippe Robert, president of the Fédération de l’Hôtellerie de Plein Air Occitanie, organizer of the fair.
Salon Sett has always focused on open-air tourism and hospitality, but what made this year’s surge in attendance possible was the opening up of this sector to an increasingly broad audience involving managers of campgrounds, agritourisms or bed & breakfasts, managers of bars, hotels and restaurants, managers of tourist facilities, swimming pools or sports facilities, as well as local authorities involved in the development of tourist accommodation and collective well-being.
A choral interest of a driving tourism sector, also evidenced by the concrete presence at the fair of the Outdoor Hospitality Federation of Occitania (FHPA Oc), and theUnion of Trades and Industries of Occitanian Hospitality (UMIH), which well describe the natural complementarity between the outdoor and hotel, restaurant and catering hospitality sectors. A transversal dialogue that encourages the quality of hospitality.
Another aspect that made the success of this edition possible isinnovation, a central focus of Salon Sett 2025.Artificial intelligence has been at the center of this 46. edition, which is essential for marketing support, organizational and administrative management of facilities, energy optimization, equipment maintenance and safety in open-air facilities.
Another aspect that made this edition’s numbers possible is a theme riding the wave of current events, sustainability. In the same vein, the SETT d’Or 2025 competition honored five French companies for their innovative and sustainable solutions in the areas of resource management, security, digitization, and sustainable development, testifying to the vitality of the sector and its ability to find concrete answers to the challenges of tomorrow.
After the success of 2025, the appointment is expected on November 3, 4 and 5, 2026 at the Parc des Expositions in Montpellier with many challenges to face and new things to discover.
