Sandaya is continuing to grow. The French chain specializing inhigh-end open-air hospitality, on the occasion of the 45th edition of the prestigious Salon SETT taking place these days in Montpellier, announced two new entries that join the already numerous open-air proposals in France, Italy, Spain and Croatia.
The two facilities that will open soon were presented: Le Village Flottant de Pressac (Vienne) and Ondres-Plage (Landes), both of which meet the group’s requirements: service excellence and immersion in nature. On the eve of the brand’s 15th anniversary in 2025, more than 8 million euros will be invested in these two latest additions.
The year 2024 is a year of growth for the French group, which in recent months has seen the integration of 8 new destinations in the French territory, as well as 4 exceptional sites in Italy in the regions of Veneto and Tuscany, making the brand as one of the main players in en plein air hospitality in the transalpine region.
The Pressac Floating Village, an unusual and environmentally friendly housing concept unique to France
The Pressac Floating Village is located in Pressac (Vienne), in a Natura 2000 classified site in the New Aquitaine region. This is a truly original proposal that will offer its Guests the opportunity to stay in a beautiful facility surrounded by nature, among floating huts and stilts that will house lodges and eco-safari tents.
A truly unique setting for a proposal that will stand out. The Sandaya group has invested to create a 900-m² lagoon, a 2,500-m² white sand beach and 30 new cottages, doubling the accommodation capacity of the site.
The Village Flottant de Pressac will become a benchmark for French and European ecotourism for clients seeking unusual and sensory experiences thanks to the natural materials used and the sustainable management approach.
Ondres-Plage, flagship in the Landes
The Ondres-Plage is located in Ondres, at the gateway to the Basque Country, a stone’s throw from the characteristic villages of the Landes. Surrounded by pine forests, this 6-hectare campsite is set in a privileged setting, just 200 meters from the beach, lapped by ocean waters.
The facility will undergo an 8-million-euro investment, with a complete renovation to bring the site up to Sandaya brand standards by the 2025 season: 149 housing units and 33 uncovered pitches with private toilets, complete renovation of the reception and accommodations.
