Sandaya: Les Grenettes, prestigious new facility for French brand

Sandaya, a leading player in Europe’s high-end outdoor hospitality sector, takes another step forward in its upward positioning strategy. The entry of this new facility of excellence confirms the dynamic expansion and diversification of its offer in different segments of the tourism market.

Les Grenettes 5*, new Sandaya flagship

The latest addition to the Sandaya family is Les Grenettes 5*, a property distinguished by its uniquehybrid offering. Located in Sainte-Marie-de-Ré, it includes both a campsite and a hotel, the group’s third exceptional offering on the Isle de Ré, following the recent acquisition of Interlude campsite.

Les Grenettes offers a prestigious 5* campsite, with a capacity of 210 pitches, and from a 4* hotel with 49 rooms capable of hosting corporate events and seminars. Ideally located 250 meters from Grenettes beach, in a 7-hectare park in the heart of a pine forest, the facility has high-quality services and infrastructure, including two heated outdoor pools, a hot tub, a children’s pool, and a restaurant.

François Georges, president of the Sandaya Group, said, “The acquisition of the Grenettes fits perfectly into our development path: strengthening our presence in iconic destinations while expanding our offerings with activities complementary to recreational tourism.” He added, “With this hybrid property, which is both a hotel, campground and event venue, we affirm our ability to offer diversified hospitality experiences that create long-term value.”

More than 2.2 million euros will be invested by 2027 to improve the infrastructure and equipment of rental accommodations. Indeed, this operation is part of the brand’s strategy todiversify into the business tourism sector, following the acquisition of a majority stake in Business Village (Louan, Seine-et-Marne), a 400-cottage complex dedicated to corporate events.
