After several months of careful restoration, the Sandaya Flottant de Pressac Village has reopened its doors, making the stay even more beautiful and immersive. The facility is located in the south of the Vienne, at the gateway to the Charente, in the heart of a Natura 2000 area, the perfect destination in New Aquitaine for a vacation in the green, just a step away from the blue of the small lake.
The resort offers 35 new 40-m² cottages with views of the countryside and the body of water; each housing structure faces a different direction so as to ensure privacy and tranquility for its guests, and all are located just a step away from the sandy beach where the “La Bulle Bleue” bar is located for moments of rest and refreshment. In addition, the vast body of water within the area houses 22 floating cabins, huts and lodges, as well as the famous “La Marina” restaurant with its grill cabins.
The new Flottant de Pressac was inaugurated last Thursday, June 5, in the presence of François Georges, president of the Acapace and Sandaya groups, Annabelle Viollet, regional director of the Banque des Territoires Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Gérard Huguenaud, mayor of Pressac, Reine-Marie Waszak, regional councilor, Isabelle Barreau, president of the Vienne Tourism Agency, Alain Pichon, president of the Vienne Departmental Council, and Marie-Jeanne Bellamy, Vienne senator.
