As reported by Trigano‘s communications office, the company announces that it has received authorization from the French Competition Authority to acquire 100 percent of the share capital and voting rights of BIO Habitat and its subsidiary BIO Habitat Italia.
This acquisition is in line with Trigano’s development strategy in the growing market of leisure vehicles and equipment.
BIO Habitat, the winning choice
This brand has been the leading designer and manufacturer of mobile homes for the European rental and housing market for more than 30 years. It is distinguished by its O’Hara, IRM and Coco Sweet brands, and Groupe Beneteau’s Housing division is also a key player in the production of mobile homes for the outdoor hospitality sector in Europe.
The company is profitable, employs 900 people at seven production sites in France and Italy, and has achieved sales of €319.6 million in 2023. It offers synergies, particularly in purchasing, logistics and production processes, and will enable Trigano to consolidate its leadership in the European leisure vehicle sector.
