Veneto: new ERDF call 2021-2027 to promote regional tourism

Veneto is once again betting on tourism, the spearhead of a region that boasts Italy’s first seaside destination, Cavallino-Treporti. At the proposal ofTourism Councillor Federico Caner, the Regional Council approved the resolution announcing theopening of the second edition of the call dedicated to the establishment and development of SME aggregations to promote tourism in national and international markets.

The initiative, with a total budget of 4.8 million euros, aims to support innovative and shared projects by networks of companies, ATIs, ATSs and consortia, which enhance the area’s tourist destinations and products, an interesting opportunity also for the many outdoor realities present throughout the region.

Councillor Caner states, “This second edition of the call represents a unique opportunity for tourism businesses in our territory. We have, in fact, allocated new resources to foster the competitiveness and sustainability of Veneto SMEs, enabling them to expand their presence in international markets and strengthen the attractiveness of our cultural and tourism heritage. All interested companies can participate in aggregations to seize this opportunity for shared growth.” .

It further specifies, “This call aims to incentivize the creation of networks and consortia for the tourism and cultural promotion of the Veneto region in coherence with the ‘Veneto, the Land of Venice’ brand and, out of a total budget of 4.8 million euros, allocates 3.8 million euros for projects of aggregations composed of at least 15 SMEs and 1 million euros for projects aimed at long-range markets, carried out by networks of at least 5 consortia or aggregations that have at least 15 micro, small and medium-sized enterprises within them. Eligible activities include participation in trade fairs, organization of promotional events, and involvement of specialized management figures “.

The opening of the deadlines for completing and submitting the application for support is from 10 a.m. on December 20, 2024 until 5 p.m. on May 28, 2025.
