Preparations for the ADAC Camping Gala 2024 are already underway. The event will award new awards to entrepreneurs in the camping sector and campsites that have distinguished themselves for the results achieved during the 2023 season. There are five categories that will be awarded.
- Sustainability and Environmental Awareness: category aimed at establishments that have embraced sustainable practices and promoted a high degree of environmental awareness within the campsite. Those who have taken concrete steps towards reducing the ecological impact and invested in practices that respect the ecosystem will be rewarded.
- Innovation and Advancement: This category will pay homage to innovators, those who have stimulated the progress of the camping industry through new ideas, cutting-edge services and creative solutions, significantly enriching the campers’ experience.
- Demographic Change and Accessibility: In a spirit of inclusion, this category will reward those who have worked to make camping accessible to a diverse range of age groups and abilities. Those who have contributed to ensuring that a wider public can enjoy the pleasures of outdoor activity will be rewarded.
- ADAC Camping Booking: is a category dedicated to excellence in the provision of camping booking services through the ADAC platform. Recognition will go to those who help simplify and streamline the experience of planning an outdoor excursion.
- Hall of Fame: This category will recognize an outstanding figure who has left an indelible mark on the camping industry and whose dedication has had a profound impact on the growth and development of the entire industry.
The candidacy proposals were accepted until 31 July 2023, then the countdown for ADAC Camping Gala 2024 has begun.
