The other seven villages and campsites have been announced as winners of the KoobCamp “Certificates of Excellence”, the award now in its seventh edition awarded to the best Italian campsites. The top six winners were presented last March. While Sardinia stood out in the first part of the award with three out of six award-winning structures, the Veneto region stands out in this second round of certificates of excellence, with three out of seven award-winning establishments. The other elected campsites are located in Puglia, Trentino-Alto Adige, Tuscany and Sardinia.
Starting right from Veneto, the Piani di Clodia Camping in Lazise (Verona) has earned the “Sport” award. In fact, this structure has numerous facilities led by qualified instructors including soccer fields, tennis, padel, beach volleyball, basketball, a gym and a fitness area to have fun with friends and family.
The “Aquapark” award, designed for structures with the best water play areas for adults and children, went to the Sant’Angelo Village in Cavallino-Treporti (Venice), immersed in a 20-hectare park with a private equipped beach and activities entertainment for young and old. The flagship is the water park, with swimming pools of various sizes and depths, slides and water games for every age group.
The “Entertainment” award, to celebrate the facilities that devote particular attention to the entertainment of their guests, was awarded to the San Francesco Village in Caorle (Venice), equipped with five swimming pools and an aquatic center with whirlpool and slides, at the inside which swimming lessons are also organized. For sports lovers there are also a fitness center and golf courses, tennis, football and beach volleyball, as well as the possibility of practicing water polo, sailing or surfing, a riding stable, a multiplex cinema, a games room, a mini kart track. and a small theater.
Moving on to the other regions, the Torre del Porticciolo Camping Village in Alghero (Sassari) won the “Experience” award, dedicated to facilities that offer their guests the opportunity to spend their holidays in the name of new experiences. The structure located in the fabulous Riviera del Corallo, in fact, among the various activities also offers a visit to the Grotte di Nettuno, an underground world of incredible charm and reachable both by sea and by land.
The “Digital” award went to Tuscany, assigned to the realities with the best activity on social media and on the web, designed to maintain an active relationship with their customers and to try to reach new ones: the winner is the Gitavillage Argentario in Orbetello (Grosseto ). The “Great bathroom” plaque, designed for structures with the greatest attention to toilets both from a structural and organizational point of view, went instead to the Baia di Manaccora Tourist Village, in Peschici (Foggia). Finally, the Toblacher See Camping in Dobbiaco (Bolzano) was crowned with the “Unusual accommodation” award, awarded to open-air accommodation facilities that offer their guests unusual accommodation such as tree houses, colorful bungalows with original shapes and habitable barrels. The pride of this South Tyrolean campsite are the splendid “SkyView Chalets” with lake views, panoramic jetty, sun terrace and Jacuzzi.
