They will certainly get noticed and appreciated by customers, the new mobile home verandas of Camping Marelago in Caorle (Veneto). In fact, this is an excellent achievement of the Gio Stemar company, which designed the verandas with specific features requested by the property in order to make this element harmonious with the other structures and the surrounding landscape. A goal fully achieved, as confirmed by the owner of Camping Marelago John Mazzarotto: “Our mobile homes had modern lines and materials on the shade of grays, also using cementitious materials in the finish. The idea was to juxtapose these concepts with something natural, which would fit in coordination with the surroundings with natural lines and concepts.”

Explain Stephen Settin by Gio Stemar: “In addition to the classic wooden structure, we made the parapet finishes and side partitions with posts of natural eucalyptus, while the interior ceiling of the verandas was covered with woven material in order to give the verandas an exotic image, as opposed to the modernity of the mobile homes. The verandas have been declined in three sizes to optimize livability and make the best use of space.”

One of the verandas was built in the only maxi-mobilhome in Camping Marelago, which maintained the feature of being fully accessible, i.e., barrier-free. Finally, Mazzarotto adds, “we requested that, again in the same style as the verandas, lowering of the houses should also be made, which would be useful for covering the plants, again resorting to eucalyptus wood posts.”

The owner of Camping Marelago is enthusiastic about the work signed by Gio Stemar: “The quality of the facilities confirms expectations. Both the quality of the wood and the final appearance met our requirements and were very well received by customers during the first season of use. In other words, the modern, rigid lines of the mobile homes were positively blended with the natural element of wood and the exoticity and lightness of eucalyptus poles and woven materials. The cooperation with the company was positive, both in the design phase and in the assembly phase, and finally also in the after-sales service phase. Despite the many unforeseen weather events that occurred during the assembly of the structures, delivery deadlines were met.”
