Il turismo in Calabria ha registrato ottimi risultati nel primo quadrimestre del 2025. Si tratta del miglior dato di presenze turistiche degli ultimi cinque anni, che raggiunge quota 464.240 pernottamenti (+10,1%) rispetto allo stesso periodo del 2024. Il dato del 2025 è la crescita più significativa dopo il periodo della pandemia.
This is a result with important percentages, especially when compared with the national figure, which registers an absolute counter-trend: in the same time frame observed, there is a contraction in both arrivals (-7.2 percent) and presences (-3.2).
Driving the excellent result of tourist arrivals in Calabria is mainly the presence of foreign guests. International tourism shows significant growth: non-resident arrivals increase by 45.8 percent and presences by 50.1 percent, with the average stay stable at 3.0 days.
A dominare la classifica i turisti provenienti da: Germania, Polonia, Francia, Stati Uniti, Spagna, Svizzera, Canada, Regno Unito, Brasile e Paesi Bassi, che rappresentano il 59,0% degli arrivi e il 63,8% delle presenze rispetto al dato complessivo dell’incoming regionale.
A giochi fatti, e nella rosea prospettiva dei mesi a venire, il settore dell’open air continua a giocare un ruolo importante. Il comparto extra-alberghiero registra infatti una crescita con il +30,7% di arrivi e il +21,0% di presenze.
