Camping in Denmark, tips for a beautiful and very wild experience

Denmark is also home to 1,000 areas used for wild camping within which motorized vehicles are not allowed to enter, but are only allowed to stay overnight in tents or shelters. This is a unique experience, ideal for those who wish to spend time completely immersed in the green. Almost all areas are equipped with running water and toilets, and about one-third have shelters in which lodging is available.

Denmark is also allowed to have fri teltning , or the possibility of pitching a tent for a night in the forest. L’Danish Nature Agency changed the general rules regarding tent camping in certain forest areas: there are more than 275 forests across the country where camping is possible.
